Mission Modernization Solutions (MMS) is seeking an FP&A Lead to join the MMS Finance team. This is an opportunity for an experienced analyst to demonstrate their skill set while growing their network in multiple levels of Finance Leadership. In this role, you will expect to lead FP&A reporting & analysis, interfacing with other finance analysts to drive deadlines & accountability, and monitoring variance analysis and reporting. This individual will collaborate with FP&A peers, S3 FP&A, as well as the MMS Director and Finance Manager to monitor & update Short Range Outlook Risks and Opportunities, monthly forecast updates, annual operating plan development, and long-range planning. The individual must be comfortable working closely with Finance and Program Leadership. This position requires an individual who possesses overall business knowledge, excellent communication & relationship building skills, and is able to support junior finance peers in day-to-day responsibilities. Opportunity to demonstrate / develop leadership skills by leading and mentoring more junior financial analysts Develop close working relationships with multiple levels of Finance Leadership Exposure to complex & mixed portfolio business through contract type, life cycle of program, & execution strategy Required Skills: * 5+ years of relevant financial work experience * Experience with consolidating and analyzing large financial data sets necessary to ensuring financial forecasts are accurate * Ability to effectively analyze financial data and communicate financial information internally and externally to the product line * Utilize good leadership and organizational skills in focusing stakeholders toward common finance goal by setting priorities and working within deadlines. * Proficient written and verbal communication skills * Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) * U.S. Citizenship status with current Secret or higher clearance Desired Skills: * Defense industry experience * Program Controls experience Required Education:
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management. Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
