Classification: Human Resources (HR) Manager

Compensation: $27.00 to $35.00 hourly

Our client, in the advertising and entertainment industry, is looking to add a dynamic Human Resources Generalist to their team on a contract basis. This is an important position and we are looking for someone who enjoys transactional HR work. As the HR Generalist you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that include but are not limited to: compliance paperwork, I9 processing, on-boarding, answering payroll questions, etc. This organization has roughly 85 FTE's and a very large contingent workforce that includes freelance employees and contractors and you will help with all HR administrative clerical functions to support this employee group. The ideal candidate will be familiar with California labor laws and will have strong attention to detail skills. This position is temporary for now, but could grow to more down the road. For now, the role is fully remote, but at some point in 2021 there may be a requirement to report into the office. The hours are flexible but ability to work up to 40 hours a week is important.
