As the selected individual you will: Responsible for accounting records, journal entries, accounts payable postings, and bank reconciliations. ? Completes monthly balance sheet and P&L reconciliations ? Prepares month-end journal entries with supporting worksheets, including expense allocations, monthly accruals, amortization of prepaid expenses, fixed assets depreciation and recording of adjusting and reclassification journal entries, if necessary ? Reconcile inter-companies? transactions ? Monitor accounting transactions to resolve discrepancies and make reconciliation adjustments accordingly. ? Assist with external audit requests. ? Assist the Controller with the day-to-day, monthly, and year-end operations of the Accounting Department.
