Description:

QA Engineer Job Description

An immediate opening for a QA engineer who is willing to assist with creating and developing Quality Management System, plan and execute internal audits and maintain quality system and documentation.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Lead the efforts and process to gather and create process requirements in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 or IATF 16949:2016

- Act as the supportive source of knowledge for all processes, procedures and Working Instructions.

- Review, consult, and re-write existing procedures and work instructions in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 or IATF 16949:2016

- Conduct training on the required management systems

- Support the implementation of processes

- Develop internal audit scope and audit plans

- Conduct internal audits to identify non-conformities in adherence to procedures, work instructions, regulations and expectations for data accuracy and completeness

- Prepare and present reports that reflect audit results and document process

- Provide input on document enhancement and retention; maintain systems documentation and controls, administer activities required to gain certification, and actively coach the organization for maintaining systems

- Support QA management with data analysis, report building and general database maintenance

Desired Qualifications

- A bachelor's degree in engineering is required

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a QA or QMS domain in Logistics and Manufacturing environment

- Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Auditor and Six Sigma green belt is preferred.

- Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

- Knowledge and experience of FMEA, Cpk, PPAP, Control Plan, R&R, SPC, Six Sigma, CAPA and 8D analysis is strongly needed.

- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) is required
