The Wireless Network Engineer will be responsible for assessing, engineering and implementing changes to client network infrastructure. A strong set of communications skills with an investigatory capacity built in and a tolerance for constant change are fundamental to the position. Position can be 100% remote and comes with strong base salary and excellent benefits. Project work is 50% nights, but no on call and almost non-existent weekend work.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Maintain and update client records to reflect the plumbing and port/interface assignments used
  • Provide timely updates to the client on status up to completion and be able to briefly summarize any obstacles encountered and what mitigation attempts are underway
  • Routinely working with other client-selected 3rd-party vendors, so excellent, professionalism, interpersonal communication skills, and a cooperative attitude are exclusively stated requirements


  • Understanding of telecommunications networking elements such as routers, switches, ports, and interfaces with the ability to engineer and configure
  • Understanding of networking protocols
  • Understanding of looking at status commands, log files, log messages to determine course of action
  • Understanding of IPv4 and IPv6
  • Troubleshooting ability to isolate, diagnose, and resolve problems
  • Familiarity of tools that monitor network environments
  • Ability to write a Method Of Procedure (MOP)
  • 10+ years in a Networking configuration environment
