Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Clinic Nursing Supervisor (CNS) manages the resources and daily activities of the outpatient clinics, to include: Family, Bariatrics, OB, Pediatrics, Neuroscience and Outpatient Diabetes, while ensuring environmental factors that support high standards of patient care. Develops and conducts training and development of new and existing staff members, as re quired by policies and competencies. Creates and maintains an environment that is conducive to learning transfer. Coordinates the clinical activities of the clinics for each shift and directs, organizes, and assigns work to the clinical staff. Provides patient care, as needed. The CNS reports to the Director of Clinic Operations. In collaboration with the Director of Clinics Operations, the supervisor will ensure adherence to prescribed productivity, efficiency, quality and patient experience metrics. The CNS will ensure that the clinics are in compliance with all regulatory standards to include and not limited to: The Joint Commission, CMS, Insurance Companies, and Title 22.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • BSN Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred.

  • At least three years supervisory experience in the clinic setting.

  • Proficiency with Regulatory Title 22 Joint Commission knowledge Business Development Acumen Previous Experience in Regulatory Audits

  • Three - five years hospital experience and two - three years of clinic experience.

Licensure:

  • Registered Nursing License (RN) in state of practice, Basic Life Support (BLS), other credentials or credential modules may be required.
