We are looking for a Human Resource Coordinator who will work with us and support the HR function for several of our branch locations, mostly on the West Coast. This role will act as a generalist and will be involved in all aspects of HR, including recruiting, benefits, payroll, safety and employee relations.
This role:
- -Administers employee benefit plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
-Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
-Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
-Completes Verification of Employment requests and assists with new-employee background checks.
-Reconciles benefits statements.
-Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
-Assists with processing of terminations.
-Assists with the annual performance review process.
-Assists with recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates in HRIS.
-Supports Hiring Managers with scheduling meetings and interviews.
-Creates reports using HRIS data
This is an in-office position
