Job Description: The HR Generalist will provide support in multiple Human Resources disciplines with an emphasis on home care aid (i.e., CAREGiver) recruitment. The successful candidate is expected to recruit, screen, hire, and onboard quality individuals to work within our growing franchise offices.

Primary Responsibilities:

&bull Reflect the core values of Prescott Sanchez Inc, d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead franchise.

&bull Answer each employment inquiry in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner.

&bull Schedule and conduct applicant interviews in an efficient and professional manner.

&bull Develop and implement new recruitment strategies online and within the community.

&bull Ensure consistency in hiring practices such as the posting of positions, assessments, hiring criteria, communications and informing openings internally.

&bull Provide Human Resources Generalist support as needed in the areas of onboarding, performance management, employee relations, training and development, employee engagement events, and other related activities.

&bull Report all recruitment activities to the Human Resources Manager weekly.

&bull Comply with Local, State, Federal and Home Instead Standards conduct reference checks, criminal background and motor vehicle check and drug screens on all employees.

&bull Create and maintain all employment records including but not limited to I-9 form, W-4 form and all other employment related documents.

&bull Maintain regular attendance at the office to execute job responsibilities (Our HR Office is open from 8am-7pm Monday - Friday and Saturdays from 8am - 5pm)

&bull Demonstrate open and effective communication with the franchise owner, colleagues, CAREGivers, clients and family members.

&bull Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

Qualifications: Applicants with minimum 2-5 years of experience in a human resources/recruiter role in a medical or non-medical setting. Must have the ability to present a professional appearance and demeanor. Must be patient and congenial. Must have computer skills and be proficient in proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Must be fluent in English, able to communicate information efficiently, possess a good work ethic, multi-task, able to follow through and complete assigned tasks. Must be a good listener, pay attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Applicant should be flexible and be available to work weekends to support recruitment events as needed. Must have a valid California driver license, reliable car and car insurance. Bilingual, knowledge of the home care or health care experience is a plus.
