Industry leading sensor based, electromechanical instrumentation has immediate need for Manufacturing Supervisor, 1st shift.

This is a Direct Hire with full benefits.

The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for efficient and safe manufacturing processes through the supervision of production team members. This position must adhere to the production schedule and ensure that safety and quality standards are met. This position is hands on at the assembly areas. It is a full-time position with benefits.

Essential Functions:

Supervisors are expected to manage and lead production/operations employees.

They are responsible for delivering production volumes while adhering to Safety and Quality standards.

They are responsible for ensuring On Time Delivery of products to meet and satisfy our customers.

They are required to study production schedules and estimates staffing, duty assignments and inventory requirements.

They are responsible for coordinating manpower requirements by increasing or decreasing personnel and overtime to meet changing conditions.

They are responsible to train, evaluate and develop team members. In addition they are responsible for hiring new production talent with support from Management and Human Resources.

In partnership with the Scheduler/Planner and Purchasing, they are responsible for ensuring materials and resources are available to meet production schedules.

They are responsible for maintaining time, production records, line lead reports and supervisor reports.

They are responsible to ensure all manufacturing orders are reconciled correctly for quantity shipped, scrap and first pass yield.

They are responsible for creating a team environment to focus on improving production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.

In partnership with Quality, they are responsible for maintaining Quality Management systems and ISO Certification.

In partnership with Facilities, they are responsible for maintaining safe, clean and functioning equipment in the work area.

As leaders they are expected to emulate company values and ensure compliance with all HR policies.

As leaders they are to drive accountability and push others and self to meet company goals.

As leaders they are expected to have superior communication skills (written and verbal).

Additional Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Manage within Labor and Operation budget.

Implement process improvement initiatives.

Analyze performance data in order to identify business opportunities.

Other projects or duties as assigned.
