Brief Job Description:
- Ensure the security of buildings and property.
- Maintain log of findings and action taken.
- Perform administrative functions such as creating incident reports and conducting investigations.
- Follow protocol in terms of student check in and out, to and from the center grounds.
- Check identification of students and staff.
- Permit and deny entrance or exit
- Assist the center staff in conducting safety inspection.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent and one year security experience. United States Armed Forces, organized police department or firefighting organization preferred. Valid California Guard Card preferred. MUST have a valid/current driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Applicants must pass background check and drug test.
Hours: 3:30 PM to 12:00 MN
Per the Department of Labor, employees entering the Job Corps center will be asked to provide information about their vaccination status. All staff must disclose their vaccination status or provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken from within the 3 previous days.
